Paintings and Music
On-going series of paintings that are in response to live performances; sometimes painted as part of the live performance, others are based on drawings created during performances. I work with the drawings and recordings of the concerts in my studio to create the final paintings.

Poetry and Painting
The first series is from a collaborative project focused on the idea of the creation of a shield as a protection the feminine principle - this is both physically, psychically, metaphorically. This project was created during an artist residency and extended sojourn in France and published as a limited edition bilingual artist book (150 copies). Poem Paintings and Drawings
The mixed media drawings are my individual response to selected poems; often the text of the poem is embedded in the work. The paintings are collaborative works with poet Phyllis Stowell where the poem and painting evolve as a dialogue, each responding to the others words/marks until the work feels mutually complete. Size varies. Mixed-media on paper.
